JOB SUMMARY
- Project UP is a youth career development programme that aims to support graduating students as they transition into the workforce. By providing career workshops, mentorship, and financial assistance, we strive to equip young individuals with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their professional journeys.
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Lead to oversee and manage Project UP. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including trainers, mentoring partners, and funders, to ensure the smooth execution and continuous improvement of the programme. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our participants by providing them with the necessary resources and support to achieve their career goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the UP. Ensure that all activities are aligned with the project's objectives and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing and educational partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders including trainers, mentoring partners, employers, and funders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to support programme initiatives.
Financial Management
- Work with the finance team to develop and manage the project budget to ensure financial resources are used effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee the disbursement and repayment processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Project Development and Operations
- Oversee the design and implementation of the project structure, including contract development, payment plans and risk management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Develop and manage a robust tracking and reporting system to monitor project performance and outcomes.
- Develop and execute a marketing and outreach strategy to promote the project, including participation in event, workshops and presentations to increase awareness and engagement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, social work or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in youth development or educational or career services.
- Strong understanding or keen interest of educational financing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Budget management experience.
