About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Management Associate to join our dynamic Operations Strategy team. As a key support to the VP of Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence through change management initiatives, workflow optimization, and the development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs). This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional with a strong academic background and a passion for process improvement to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Management:Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of organizational changes.
Develop and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholder buy-in and smooth transitions.
Track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
- Workflow Optimization:Analyze existing operational workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized workflows.
Document workflows using flowcharts, process maps, and other visual aids.
- SOP Development:Create clear, concise, and user-friendly SOPs for various operational processes.
Ensure SOPs adhere to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Maintain and update SOPs to reflect process changes and improvements.
- Operational Excellence:Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Conduct research and analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Project Management tools (Jira Projects, Camunda)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
