Lead and manage MRT architectural construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project goals are met within the specified timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities, to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee all aspects of construction planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Identify potential issues or delays and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are effectively implemented.
Ensure the proper implementation of architectural designs and specifications in MRT construction projects.
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment among project teams and subcontractors.
Handle contract negotiations, procurement, and coordination of materials and resources.
Requirements:
Minimum ten (10) years relevant experience and a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer
Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Construction Project Manager, with specific experience in MRT architectural works.
In-depth knowledge of MRT infrastructure projects, architectural design processes, and construction methodologies
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices in MRT construction.
