A global provider for hyperscale data center is looking for a Project Manager in Singapore. The incumbent will be overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center projects in Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Manage the commissioning and handover process to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
- Prepare and manage contract negotiations, project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Review constructability of civil, structural, electrical and mechanical system designs associated with the construction of new data centres
- Assist with project cost and contract management
- Develop and review tender packages such as building scope of works, tender evaluations, bid templates, tender reviews etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or any relevant disciplines
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management for hyperscaler data center construction ( 30,000 m2)
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems.
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and familiar working in an international environment
- Worked in a hyperscale data center operator/developer
- Ability to travel acorss APAC region
