Responsibilities
- Able to develop a comprehensive project plan outlining tasks, timeliensm, milestones, resources requirements and cost
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success, monitor risk triggers and implement contingency plans to minimise risk impacts and communicate risk status to clients/project team members
- Ability to allocate resources effectively to optimise project performance in meeting contract objectives.
- Manage and monitor resource utilisation and adjust allcoations as necessary to maintain project schedule and budget
- Manage project timeline in accordance to project schedules and project cost within the allocated budget.
- Assist the stakeholder/clients on all relevant Authorities process and submissions.
- Identify client/stakeholder interests, expection and influence level on the project level.
- Oversight of engineering design for projects and design packages to meet the requirements of the client.
- Communicate schedule updates to clients and adjust timelines as required.
- Implement cost control measure to mitigate overryns and optimise project costs
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to financial policies and procedures
- Establish effective communication channels to facilitate seamless information flow
- Resolve conflicts, address issues and escalate concerns to ensure timely resolution and maintain service quality
- Build and maintain strong and effective client/stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors sub consultants and researchers.
Requirements
- Minimum a Bachelor/master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore.
- Minimum Ten (10) years of project management experience in a consultancy firm with multi-disciplinary project management on infrastructure development, large scale coastal engineering works etc.
- Technical proficiency in engineering and project management
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices. Proficient in developing project plans, managing project schedules, budget and resources, identifying and resolving project risk.
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently in English as well as excellent written skills.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate, inspire the teams and lead by example providing direction and foster collaborative and productive work environment.
- Team player, able to multi-task and motivating the team members.
- Disciplined, self-motivated, resourceful and good presentation skills
- Experience in stakeholders engagement
