Project Manager
Duration: 12 months (renewable contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a detailed project plan outlining key milestones, workstreams, and activities manage project delivery according to this plan.
- Track project progress and provide regular reports on status to the project team and key stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project reports for stakeholders, updating internal management or senior stakeholders on project progress.
- Manage and adjust for changes in project scope, schedule, and budget as necessary.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee communication and relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring project delivery meets their satisfaction.
- Manage external vendors and/or internal resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Set up project meetings with multiple vendors to facilitate discussions on project objectives and scope.
- Define resource requirements and manage resource availability and allocation, coordinating diverse teams including internal and third-party members.
- Outline project budgets based on requirements and track costs to ensure delivery within budget.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) with 8+ years of relevant experience as a full-fledged project manager.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies. Agile Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, techniques, and service management/development lifecycles.
- Proven experience in implementing large-scale projects and programs across multiple geographies to create a unified global user experience and support model.
- Experience managing project team members and external vendors effectively.
- Skilled in project reporting for both project teams and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to present project status to top management and senior executives clearly.
- Superior attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to present quantitative data effectively.
- Experience in corporate banking project management and system implementation.
- Experience in the banking/finance industry, particularly in the APAC region. Experience in a Japanese company is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment effective collaboration and negotiation skills self-motivated with strong analytical capabilities.
