1.Project Management:
- Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of in-country healthcare projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, define project scope and objectives, and ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
2.Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business analysis teams to gather and analyze project requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for departmental business leaders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Liaise with Group project management teams to ensure in-country projects align with regional and global strategies.
3.Regional and Group Alignment:
- Coordinate the rollout of regional projects within the country, ensuring consistency with Group standards and practices.
- Adapt and implement Group project management methodologies and tools to meet local needs while maintaining alignment with regional objectives.
- Participate in Group-level project management meetings and contribute to the development of regional strategies.
4.Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor project management teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and address training and development needs within the project management team
- Promote a positive work environment and actively support the professional growth of team members.
5.Risk and Compliance Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure all projects comply with local regulatory requirements and Group governance standards.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to project management processes, policies, and best practices.
6.Financial Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
- Track project expenditures and ensure financial controls are in place to prevent cost overruns.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
7.Continuous Improvement
- Lead efforts to continuously improve project management processes and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare project management.
- Encourage innovation and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within the project management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
