Job Description:
Project Management
- Part of the Project Delivery Team to drive the delivery of various IT GCC projects from project initiation, implementation, and maintenance to meet the business needs.
- Prepare tender specifications, involve in tender evaluation and award.
- Develop the Project Management Plan which includes the project scope, objectives, assumptions, critical success factors, project governance structure, contract/vendor management, high level project schedule, deliverables, budget, risks, communication plan, and issue management etc.
- Identify, manage and track project progress, deliverables, issues, risks and dependencies that affect the delivery of the project.
- Manage vendor to deliver enhancements, change requests and service requests on time to meet overall project goals.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and transition of the systems.
- Ensure ICT systems implemented comply with ICT and procurement policies, standards and procedures including Government Instructions Manual (IM), IT Security Standards and Technical Architecture.
- Value-add to customers by providing advice on best practices in exploiting appropriate technology, reviewing and improving their work processes, and facilitating and supporting customers change management process & adoption of the new system.
- Perform timely updates to stakeholders / reporting and presentations in Steering Committee or equivalent forums on project progress, issues, risks, resources and progress etc.
- Actively cultivate relationships with stakeholders and obtain buy in for business and strategies.
- Manage vendors and IT contracts by ensuring contractual obligations are met and projects are successfully delivered by vendors.
Business & System Analysis
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify business needs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the business requirements specifications and feasibility studies on possible solutions.
- Support the development of business cases defining potential benefits, solutions to increase efficiencies of business processes and associated risks.
- Support the review of existing business processes to identify new opportunities.
- Propose/Develop alternative solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Evaluate the viability and feasibility of possible improvements to processes.
- Develop reports and strategic analysis of business processes.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure requirements are incorporated into system design.
- Function as the liaison between users and technical staff throughout the solution implementation cycle.
- Work with relevant stakeholders on user acceptance testing.
- Verify that business requirements are incorporated into the design.
- Manage risks associated with solution integration.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT or equivalent
- Knowledge in Cloud. Experience in IT system migration to Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC).
- At least 6-8 years within IT industry, with at least 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and experience through minimum 3 full project lifecycles. Mastery of Agile Development Methodology.
- Experience in one or more of the following types of project implementations: datacenter migration, data migration or major system implementation.
- Good in time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Meticulous and able to work under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences (external vendors and internal stakeholders which includes presentation to management).
- Well-balanced team player who is able to help-out team members as well as can coordinate between cross-functional teams.
- Experience in healthcare industry would be an added advantage.
