We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety compliance and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Overall supervision of assigned projects, to ensure timely completion of projects, within the approved budgets set by the Project Manager and the management.
Plan and prepare all project micro and/or master program with indication of Critical Path to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Project Planning and Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope and deliverables.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
2) Team Coordination:
Lead project teams, including subcontractors, site supervisors, and laborers.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
3) Budget and Financial Oversight:
Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with budget.
Approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
Prepare cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
4) Quality and Compliance:
Ensure projects adhere to building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections to maintain quality assurance and address any issues.
Review and approve construction documentation and permits.
5) Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors.
Provide regular progress reports and address concerns promptly.
Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes when necessary.
6) Health and Safety:
Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
Investigate and address safety incidents, ensuring preventive measures are in place.
7) Full time for 3 to 6 months.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in managing construction projects of varying sizes and complexity.
Certifications: PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification preferred. OSHA safety certification is a plus.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction management tools.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction best practices.
