We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) Project Manager with a background in management consulting and deep expertise in commodity trading and oil / petroleum. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing projects on the implementation and optimization of CTRM systems, leveraging their skills to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
- Allocate project resources effectively and efficiently
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to meet project objectives
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses & identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
- Develop contingency plans to address potential obstacles
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards
- Implement and manage quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
- Project management experience within the oil / petroleum commodities
- Experience of project management as a consultant
- Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion
- Experience with resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment
