Project Manager - SGUnited Traineeships Programme
1. Role Description:
This position reports to the Directors and cooperate with clients and vendors. The Interior Place is a company comprising of experienced senior designers and skilled craftsmen. We envisioned to create customised designs that can cater every personality, lifestyle, budget, and brand with the highest standards.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
. Generate and implement creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project.
. Supervise, coordinate and control works according to approved drawings issued ensuring quality of works.
. Plan, schedule and monitor physical construction works on site with all sub-contractors and vendors to comply with quality, time and budget for project to run smoothly.
. Conduct technical and operational risk assessments, opportunities and potential hazards in order to minimize project risks.
. Develop, review and advise project specifications, technical clarification and purchase justifications for materials, ensuring the projects meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
. Manage and ensure adherence to project schedule, budget and productivity rates by preparing project construction schedule, monitoring and reporting on project related activities.
3. Competencies to learn:
. Advanced knowledge on furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, colour and materials to carryout design intent.
. Knowledge on design and project drawings, commitment to quality, and client satisfaction.
. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and with external project consultants.
. Knowledge of cost & risk management.
. Meticulous and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to demonstrate design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphically.
. Strong analytical skills required to design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphically.
4. Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered:
6 months
