Job Description
This is a full-time role, primarily a leadership role involved in all aspects of the municipal waste-to-energy plant design and construction. The role entails providing leadership and direction to the whole consultancy team. The PM will be the client facing person and is expected to liaise and make presentations to other government authorities and stakeholders.
The consultancy scope includes, but not limited to, detailed design, procurement support, construction supervision and commissioning management. Under the supervision of the Project Director, the individual is expected to manage the overall project progress and budget, foster good working relationship with the client, regularly inform the management board on project performance, meet KPIs assigned by the management board, etc.
Requirements
The individual shall be:-
- a Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer registered in his/her country of practice is preferred
- with a minimum of 15 years of relevant engineering experience in delivery of large-scale industrial/utilities projects (e.g. waste, water, oil & gas, power) and relevant experience in delivering large-scale solid waste management projects (e.g. waste-to-energy, sludge incineration, materials recovery and food waste treatment)
It will be added advantage if the individual has:-
- Undertaken similar role in the last 7 years
- Has worked in Singapore previously.
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
