Project Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of projects
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and supervisors on project matters
• Attend meetings with clients/main contractors/sub-contranctors on project-related matters
• Update site progress information and ensure the accuracy of shop drawings
• Carry out inspection and joint inspection of works in progress
• Ensure that the works are executed to the required quality standard
• Adhere to safety guidelines and practices in the work place
• Ability to produce constructible 3D drawings and be able to translate them into 2D shop drawings, will be an advantage
• Assist the Project Managers and project team with other tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Project Engineer. Prior experience with Laboratory/Specialty gases pipeline systems will be considered an advantage
• Good understanding of M&E works and ability to associate BIM with construction needs
• Willingness to learn and use new software/technology
• Self-driven and good time management
• While not necessary, knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks and BIM360 would be an advantage.
