Job Description

Proprietary trading cross-barrels and other asset classes, optimizing for profitability and managing associated risks.
Develop and implement proprietary trading strategies, using quantitative and qualitative data to identify trading opportunities.
Monitor and manage portfolio risk, conduct regular performance reviews and risk assessments of active strategies.
Analyse market trends, news events, and macroeconomic data that impact trading strategies.
Work closely with research, quant, and risk teams to refine trading strategies.
Provide regular performance updates and reporting to management.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 10 experience in proprietary trading.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
Good knowledge of oil and gas fundamentals and macro insights
Experience in building own models and trading methodologies with successful back tests.
Strong quantitative skills with a proven ability to analyze market trends, generate insights, and make data-driven trading decisions.
Deep understanding of risk metrics, capital management, and the ability to make disciplined trading decisions under pressure.
Team player with strong communication skills.
