About The Role
As the PPGR Sr. Manager in Singapore, you will report directly to the Singapore General Manager of Gojek while also maintaining a line of contact with the Chief of PPGR GoTo. In this role, you will proactively manage our regulatory obligations and relationship with Singapore regulators. You will also advocate for Gojek's business interests with the industry, associations, think tanks, government agencies, and stakeholders to influence government policies and improve Gojek's reputation.

You will devise strategies to build and strengthen relationships with Singapore stakeholders while identifying engagement platforms as a way to increase our brand equity, visibility, and thought leadership capabilities globally. You are also expected to work closely with internal teams like Legal, PR, Supply, and Operations to develop and lead immediate and long-term public policy strategies that support our business objectives and drive favorable policy and regulatory outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and lead both immediate and long-term public policy and advocacy strategies that support our business objectives and drive favorable policy and regulatory outcomes
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to shape Gojek's overall position on key policy topics and manage the creation of written and visual materials advocating for these positions
  • Lead and support leadership in engagements and meetings with the government and relevant stakeholders to help shape a positive policy and regulatory environment for the company
  • Advise leadership on emerging regulatory and legislative issues that could impact Gojek users locally and regionally
  • Regularly monitor and analyze global policy trends and regulations of importance to Gojek's business interests
  • Provide expert advice to business units to ensure that initiatives/products are in line with local regulatory requirements
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to address government challenges and opportunities while working with the industry, associations, think tanks, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote and build support for public policy positions

What You'll Need


  • At least 8 years of working experience in a similar function in a private company, working for the Singapore Government, or a combination of both. Experience working in the private sector is preferred. This is a senior individual contributor role that requires leading cross-functional teams on relevant topics
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to synthesize complex policy issues in digestible policy briefs for senior executives/management
  • Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the ability to coordinate resources across different teams to operationalize information and business strategy
  • Ability to formulate policy positions, strategies, and recommended actions even in the face of ambiguity
  • A university degree is required
  • Good understanding of the Singapore political system and regulatory landscape
