- Lead and oversee the team responsible for establishing supplier agreements, considering sales and operational requirements.
- Provide the Asia Pacific regional organization with a comprehensive portfolio of service providers offering sea freight and intermodal services.
- Conduct research on market developments, suppliers used by competitors, and market rates, and take action based on findings.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing and new suppliers at various levels within the assigned area.
- Collaborate closely with various parties (suppliers, other offices, forwarders, and agents) in rate offers and negotiations.
- Organize and maintain supplier information, rates, and surcharges within our Internal Vendor System.
- Monitor and manage the expiration of various rates in the Vendor System.
- Execute and oversee all rate negotiations with suppliers in the designated area.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the supplier portfolio.
- Manage, support, and facilitate the regional procurement team in their daily activities.
- Assist the superior with additional procurement duties as required.
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience in procurement in Logistics Business
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related discipline
