Our client is a Water Treatment Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage data input, analytics, and maintenance of the Procurement Department's electronic folders.
- Conduct clerical and administrative tasks within the Procurement Department.
- Assist and support the team with quotation and tender activities.
- Utilize internal Purchase Requisitions to identify and process purchase requirements, ensuring accurate information for the Purchase Order process.
- Monitor and expedite Purchase Orders with vendors.
- Communicate order status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of Vendor Registration documentation.
- Confirm goods receipt for Purchase Orders upon delivery.
- Perform additional duties as required, aligned with the role.
Requirements:
- Possess at least O Level or Diploma/ITE certification in Office Skills or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
