Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment based on company needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
- Process purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain and update records of purchasing orders, invoices, and inventory.
- Support the evaluation of vendor performance and manage supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks related to procurement, including filing, data entry, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience with procurement software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
