Your new role

Job Description:

Manage the open source repositories, ensuring all codes are properly structured, tagged, and are in working order.

Create, track, manage, and engage the community on issues relating to the codebase, including bugs and feature requests.

Prioritise issues and requests according to urgency and alignment to the overall Foundation roadmap, identifying potential interactions between issues and making the necessary tradeoff decisions.

Implement and keep up to date the CI/CD pipeline processes and testing suites, ensuring that automated testing runs smoothly.

Review all pull requests and new code contributions for code fidelity and quality, maintaining the long-term calibre of the codebase.

Actively respond to queries and discussions, including new feature requests and support tickets, while building a strong developer community around the project.

What you'll need to succeed

Have at least 5 years of demonstrable, hands-on coding experience, ideally in full stack development.

Familiar with Python and JavaScript, with some experience working on frontend frameworks such as Node and/or React.

Can navigate your way around GitHub, tweak GitHub Actions, and prune issues with your eyes closed.

Proficient with CI/CD tools and concepts, such as Lint, PyTest, and automated build and test approaches. Knowledge of security IAST and SCA tools is a plus.

Able to community effectively, codeswitching between tweaking code and engaging people effortlessly.

Knowledge of software architecture concepts and/or open source project management is an advantage.
