Responsibilities
- Uphold high standards of internal quality control for fresh produce through effective management of quality processes.
- Ensure the Quality Team conducts regular inspections aligned with approved specifications.
- Verify that inspectors perform tasks in compliance with ISO/FSSC 22000 standards, HACCP, and GMP requirements.
- Report to the Head of Operations on production performance, noting any issues or areas for improvement.
- Conduct training and audits for Quality Assurance programs, including customer quality standards, 5S, GMP, Food Safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Ensure the team promptly reports and submits claims documents for shipments that do not meet quality standards upon arrival.
- Enforce adherence to the company's SOPs and procedures among all employees.
- Ensure new employees receive thorough training on procedures and provide ongoing training for existing staff to enhance job competency.
- Address customer complaints and supplier rejections, conducting investigations and implementing timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with authorities for food safety-related audits.
- Perform quality control inspections in line with product specifications as required by both customer and company standards.
- Check all incoming goods and customer returns, completing necessary records.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Team to ensure proper storage of goods in designated chillers.
- Conduct quality checks during the picking and packing process and before dispatch to customers.
- Periodically inspect goods stored in chillers to maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Successful candidate must be trained in ISO/FSSC22000.
- At least 3 years of QC Experience in food / beverage manufacturing environment
