Overall Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspections/analysis or 1st article inspection on raw materials/components according to written procedures and spec control drawings.
- Maintain instrument calibration system, documentation and procedures
- Will apply world-class techniques (Six Sigma, Anova, Taguchi, SPC, Gauge R&R etc.) to ensure the development of robust, predictive quality systems which are easily transferable and maintainable in a production environment.
- Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, soldering iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine and automatic wire.
- Manage and maintain the QA laboratory.
- Support the internal/supplier auditing function to ISO Quality System requirements. Audit/review/approve final product/assemblies prior to acceptance into finished goods inventory process associated shop folder documentation.
- Coordinate the day-to-day inspection support for validation requirements and ensure completion of inspection requirements to ensure timely completion of project timelines.
- Create Certifications of Analysis/ Conformance, as required.
- Meet daily quality inspection output & quality requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE/ Diploma preferably in Engineering courses
- Basic understanding/ reading of CAD drawings
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
