You will be reporting directly to QA & EHS Manager and you will work onsite at Seletar Plant, Singapore.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform surveillance test and evaluation of sealants.
- Arrange samples and liaise with Manufacturer for full conformance test if needed.
- Prepare test reports, certify and release products for shipment.
- Responsible for all Quality Control functions including incoming material testing, process testing and analysis.
- Maintain the inventory of all laboratory equipment.
- Report to QA engineer for assignment of tasks.
- Responsible for quality checks of various coatings products.
- Establish coatings formula using spectrophotometer or other colour matching techniques, blend and spray the colour match and perform any corrections when necessary.
- Support our goals and objectives, policies and procedures in compliance with quality management system (QMS).
- Help create new procedures and work instructions to maintain and improve the QMS.
- Follow laboratory procedures, safety rules and risk assessments.
- Other tasks include preventive maintenance, managing calibrations of measuring equipment and maintaining a 5S housekeeping programme
- Assists QA Engineer on process audit, problem solving, investigation of complaints and etc.
- Well-versed in quality tools, problem-solving skills, statistical analysis tools will be advantageous.
- Good attitude towards acquiring new knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum Higher NITEC/NITEC in chemical science or chemical engineering, chemistry/chemical process technology or science-related disciplines.
- Minimum 1 year work experience in aerospace/Chemical-related industry or Laboratory environment.
- Working experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control an added advantage.
- No colour blindness.
- Proficient in MS Office application with good report writing skills and record maintenance.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- The incumbent must possess high energy level, initiative and is a team player.
- Able to undertake other job functions as and when assigned from time to time.
- Able to perform ad-hoc overtime when required.
- Effectively bilingual.
