- Overall, responsible for the quantity surveying activities, ensuring accurate cost estimation, cost control, and cost management throughout project.
- Prepare and check Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Give expert advice on cost-related matters to project teams, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Perform regular cost assessments and prepare reports detailing project cost performance, variations, and potential risks.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- At least 7 years as a QS Manager experience in Building Construction/Hospital Building Project.
- Good knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation techniques, and cost control procedures.
- Able to read and interpret structural drawings.
