Quality Assurance Software Engineer Intern

Beep is a Singapore-headquartered IoT platform provider, with an established track record powering over 35 million transactions across more than 3000 touch-points for customers in 5 countries in South-East Asia, including nationwide initiatives with the Singapore government.

Voltality is Beep's eMobility arm, focused on providing a borderless, interoperable charging experience. As a QA Software Engineer intern, you will play a crucial role in testing and delivering revolutionary new solutions that power the future of electric mobility and unattended retail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality and reliability of our EV charging software products.
• Collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders to support the continuous delivery of high-quality software.
• Working with our customer success and product teams to close the loop on operational feedback on platform issues from customers, ensuring that they are properly fixed and tested for deployment to resolve ground concerns by priority.
• Enhance product quality and testing efficiency by developing testing tools, implementing automated testing processes, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Research and apply emerging technologies to optimize software performance and meet evolving industry standards.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in a general purpose programming language such as Python, Java or Golang
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle and testing methodologies
• Interest in quality assurance and software testing.
• Able to commit full time, for at least 3-6 months

Optional but preferable skills:

• Familiarity with test frameworks like JUnit.
• Prior internship or experience in quality assurance work is a plus
• Good communication skills.
