As a Quality Engineer in Core Banking Crew, youll be responsible for the ongoing development of test assets by adopting best QA and engineering practice and innovative approach in experimenting with emerging tools and technologies. This role will shape the design and delivery of solutions encompassing automated testing and quality engineering practices. You will contribute to the financial well-being of our customers by ensuring that our team builds the best solutions possible using modern development and testing practices that ensure both functional and non-functional needs are met
Reporting lines:
You will be reporting to the Concerned Chapter Lead/Engineering Manager and also you will be working in a Squad alongside with PO, Developers and BA in Agile Methodology
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyse and translate business requirements and functional specifications into Automation testing requirements
Understanding of the existing functionality and create test cases, artefacts accordingly.
Development of quality test automation artefacts using TOSCA as preferred automation tool and implementation of CICD pipeline using Teamcity
Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices in Test chapter
Should take ownership and be proactive in working through issues and roadblocks.
Test execution and coordinate test defect management
Action phase level Test Plans, as detailed within the Test Strategy
Provide input to Planning and scheduling for projects as detailed within the Test Strategy
Coordinate test environment and data requirements to complete test execution
Provide test status reporting to manager and stakeholders
Creation of test completion reports
Continually learning modern technology best practices and bring them back to the group. Go above and beyond in improving quality and performance in the delivery of efficient, reliable and maintainable application and solutions that meet design and requirements specifications for technology projects.

Essential Skills
You will have extensive experience in the following:
4-6 Years of IT experience with Testing, Quality Engineering background
Should have expertise in ETL Testing using IBM Data Stage, Strong Knowledge on SQL, Teradata, Autosys
Good to have experience in Automation Testing
Should have experience in Creating Test Plans, Test Scenarios and execute different types of functional testing. Should have working experience in Agile Methodology (Preferably using Jira)
Working with senior stakeholders, with the confidence to challenge when required.
Ability to work and participate in collaborative working environment like agile (scrum).
Confident in presenting your ideas to other members of the team and wider stakeholders.

Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science or a related field
