As a Quality Engineer in Core Banking Crew, youll be responsible for the ongoing development of test assets by adopting best QA and engineering practice and innovative approach in experimenting with emerging tools and technologies.
This role will shape the design and delivery of solutions encompassing automated testing and quality engineering practices.
You will contribute to the financial well-being of our customers by ensuring that our team builds the best solutions possible using modern development and testing practices that ensure both functional and non-functional needs are met
Reporting lines:
You will be reporting to the Concerned Chapter Lead/Engineering Manager and also you will be working in a Squad alongside with PO, Developers and BA in Agile Methodology
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyse and translate business requirements and Non-functional specifications into Performance testing requirements
Good knowledge in handling end to end performance testing, scalability, stability, resiliency, and capacity planning of Microservices-based, Web-based and Cloud-based applications using variety of load test tools.
Good exposure to performance engineering area and knowledge in reviewing architecture, configuration, code, infra, application components and tune the system to attain optimal performance.
Analyze business requirements and design real time dashboards with aesthetic visualizations to monitor business critical user journeys and APIs performance, Error analysis, infra metrics of various type of applications.
Experience in gathering NFRs from production server logs and discovering them for PT.
Experience in peak volumetric collection from production, monitoring/analyzing business transactions for potential performance issues/bottleneck and dashboard/report creation using APM tools. Also, it was used to determine performance issues at configuration/code level issues on application architecture.
Good technical knowledge, Analytical and problem solving capability with high degree of adapting. Ability to work on the core of the problem analyze and testing the same.
Managing performance test delivery, ensuring the testing meets quality, time, and cost objectives.
Identifying the performance bottlenecks in pure paths by using APP Server monitoring like Dyna Trace.
Requirement gathering for performance testing / Non-Functional Requirements, preparing project estimation / timeline and workload model.
Design the test scripts for all business scenarios using Jmeter/Blazemeter and executed Load tests.

Essential Skills
You will have extensive experience in the following:
4-6 Years of IT experience with Performance Testing background in Agile Methodology using Jira as preferred Project Management tool
Should have expertise in Apache Jmeter, Blazemeter
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science or a related field
