Responsibilities
- Oversee advanced programming and provide technical training to engineers and technicians at multiple locations.
- Coordinate and manage the process of part qualification, ensuring supplier deliveries meet established quality standards.
- Handle issue resolution, including initial failure analysis, coordination of containment actions, collaboration with suppliers on repairs, and monitoring corrective action plans.
- Conduct audits to validate pilot production processes and ensure corrective measures are properly implemented.
- Lead initial inspections to verify measurement capabilities and technician skill levels at supplier facilities.
- Create detailed inspection procedures for incoming materials.
- Provide expertise in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), delivering training on key tools.
- Manage calibration schedules and plan ahead for equipment needs related to new product development.
- Oversee material review board (MRB) activities.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Materials / Chemistry / Physics
- Successful candidate must have experience in CMM, Smartscope
- Relevant background in plastic injection or Metal Stamping industry is preferred
- Knowledge in plastic injection moulding is highly advantageous.
