About
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
About the team
This role is part of the Quality Solutions and Implementation team for TikTok Trust and Safety Operations, and will provide data analysis and insights about the performance of our end to end quality ecosystem. These insights will provide direction to Quality Solutions and Quality Implementation teams to drive improved performance across global Quality Operations and Moderation teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for owning and improving the end to end quality solutions and processes for TikTok product, ensuring strong adherence and implementation across regions.
- Design and develop moderation quality solutions and strategies by collaborating with cross-functional teams across Trust and Safety to define and implement comprehensive moderation quality strategies that align with the company's values, policies, and industry best practices.
- Define and establish clear quality standards and metrics for moderation operation (including metrics definition, target setting, etc.).
- Develop methodologies for measuring and monitoring quality, and implement mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Lead strategic quality initiatives involving planning, organizing, and partnering with key cross-functional teams, Quality Insights, Quality Implementation, Quality Operations and Training & Performance teams to ensure successful deployment.
- Proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement that provide value-added insights and lead/implement strategic initiatives, and conduct an in-depth analysis of existing moderation processes, tools, and policies to identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Lead and drive transformational initiatives to optimize moderation practices, including solutions redesign, technology implementation, and automation strategies.
- Partner closely with the Quality Insights team to analyse and understand data insights on quality performance globally.
- Partner with Quality Implementation teams to drive change management on a global scale. Gather feedback from Quality Implementation Specialists on each aspect of the solution, and resolve issues.
- Partner with Quality Operations and Training & Performance teams to ensure effective training solutions are in place for quality measurement solutions.
- Participate in key T&S industry events/groups, and leverage industry best practices to ensure TikTok is at the leading edge of quality solutions to ensure the safety of our online community.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Experience working in Trust and Safety, Content Safety, or Operations industry.
- Experience working in Strategy/Process Design/Process Excellence for Moderation or Quality Engineering.
- 5 years of working experience in Solution Design and/or Program Management for Scaled Operations.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis with the ability to garner insights from key data and strong influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate with background education in Computer Science or Business.
- Lean six sigma qualification (Green Belt) or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems.
