Job Objectives:
This position is responsible for enhancing and contributing to the quality and compliance monitoring system at Airbus Asia Training Centre (AATC). This includes ensuring compliance to relevant aviation regulations related to flight training organization and flight simulator training devices. The role also focuses on improving the quality system through digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Meticulously prepare and submit the requisite quality assurance documentation, carefully curated to meet the exacting standards mandated by regulatory bodies, in anticipation of rigorous audit scrutiny
Exercise rigorous oversight to ensure the uniformity and compliance of all AATC training initiatives with the exacting standards delineated by Airbus policies and the rigorous stipulations of European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Easy Access Rules for Flight Crew Licencing (Part FCL), and/or Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) requirements
Orchestrating a seamless collaboration across the multifaceted landscape of AATC, spearhead the concerted effort to secure and maintain Approved Training Organisation (ATO) CAAS approval
Coordinate closely with Central ATO to facilitate EASA approval for AATC as an ATO satellite, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
Strategically plan, schedule, and execute comprehensive internal audits and inspections across training activities, simulator fly-outs, simulator operations, outsourced functions, and other areas
Take charge of simulator fly-out activities, including the investigation and closure of Discrepancy Remarks, demonstrating leadership in maintaining operational integrity
Collaborate proficiently with internal departments to manage corrective action requests, ensuring swift resolution and adherence to established protocols
Enhance the end-to-end customer journey through rigorous management of customer feedback, encompassing Trainee Customer Feedback, service provider audits, and data-driven insights analysis
Proactively engage relevant stakeholders to effectively address and mitigate customer pain points, fostering improved service delivery
Conduct in-depth analysis of trainee customer feedback to drive continuous enhancements in training quality and simulator operations promptly
Ensure seamless facilitation of all third-party audits and inspections, overseeing the timely closure of findings and compliance with regulatory standards
Advocate for a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within AATC, promoting best practices across all operational facets
Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the overall AATC Quality and Compliance Monitoring system
Serve as a reliable backup for all Quality & Compliance Monitoring matters in the absence of the Quality and Compliance Monitoring Manager, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to regulatory requirements
Facilitate the integration of Key Performance Index data recording and employ advanced data visualization techniques to optimize analytics capabilities
Lead the digital transformation initiatives at AATC by conceptualizing and developing the AATC Google Site (GSite), implementing digital systems to bolster operational support across business units
Champion the digitization agenda, focusing on fostering proficiency with Google Workspace tools and enhancing organizational efficiency through technological adoption
Assume the role of Data Governance Manager at AATC, collaborating closely with stakeholders to align with Airbus directives and execute the data governance roadmap effectively
Offer strategic counsel on data classification and management practices, emphasizing the mitigation of risks associated with the development and deployment of data-driven value-added services
Regularly validate and update the progress status of Data Governance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives
Being an advocate of Information Security Management System (ISMS) and share awareness to management and employees
Report security incidents and facilitate business on audits (both EASA & CAAS)
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Aviation / Aerospace or related field
2-3 years of work experience is preferred
Knowledge of quality management system e.g. ISO9001 and EN9100
Have a good understanding and knowledge of CAAS and / or EASA regulations with regards to Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) / Approved Training Organisation (ATO)
Good computing skills with past experience in Google and Microsoft Suite (including Google Workspace, Google Sheet, Google Slide, Google Drive, Google Looker Studio, Google Apps Script, Google Appsheet, Gmail, Qlik Sense, Qualtrics, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, etc.)
Background in Aviation simulation would be preferred
Able to manage multiple tasks, team oriented, motivated by challenges, willingness to take responsibility, multicultural experience and understanding, self-starter, problem solver.
