Quantity Surveyor (North) / Construction Engineering Industry

Our client is from Construction Industry. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to assist their Engineer team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at North of Singapore easily accessible. The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for:

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by reviewing project specifications and drawings to define the scope and costs of MEP projects.
• Perform material and labor quantity take-offs, collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate assessments.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor cost variations, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Assist with tender preparation, evaluate bids, and ensure they meet project standards and competitiveness.
• Oversee MEP-related contracts, manage variations, and resolve contractual disputes during the project.
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs without sacrificing quality, assess risks, and create mitigation strategies.
• Generate cost reports for stakeholders, collaborate with all project members, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experiences in industrial, commercial or data-centre projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical is an added advantage
