Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Recommend appropriate procurement route for Construction projects
• Vet and confirm scope of services with the users on tender specifications, and prepare tender documents
• Administer tenders forConstruction projects
• Evaluate and recommend award of tenders
• Evaluate and manage progress payment and variation orders
• Act as PSA agent under the title of Superintending Officer Representative.
• Advice on dispute resolution for contractual matters
• Prepare cost estimates for business feasibility studies for projects.

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• At least 2-3 years relevant professional experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation and contract administration
• Meticulous and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical with good negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
