R&D Packaging Designer (Temp - 6 months)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysize and study packaging designs to determine customer and business needs.
• Develop Packaging concepts, test and finalized design till production.
• Issue artwork for prototyping and mass production.
• Discuss and negotiate with Engineers and Product Assurance to balance cost efficiency with design intent.
• Check drawings with engineer to confirm the design.
• Responsible for follow up and approvals for production.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Product and Industrial Design.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D software. (Eg. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Parametric & Direct modeling (eg. Rhino / Alias / NX))
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good communication skill, creative and able to perform work independently with minimum guide.
• Have knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes & Design For Manufacturing.
• Motivated, positive attitude and eager to learn.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.

• Mondays - Fridays: 8:00am to 5:30pm
