Job Description:
The position assumes full responsibility of technology, product and process development for Broadcoms leading edge Optocoupler products, reporting directly to Director of Engineering, Isolation product division.
Responsibilities
Leading product and process engineering team to develop advanced high voltage isolation products for industrial and automotive application. Manage new product development programs to the budget and schedule. Engaging with customers directly to understand end market requirements and develop R&D roadmap ahead of competition. Resolve customer escalations and manufacturing issues during new product launch. Developing cutting edge technologies and IPs to maintain Broadcoms leadership position in the end market. Establishing robust design systems and processes to manage design challenges, risks and reduce new product cycle time to market. Driving critical talent development and innovative culture in organization. Creating favorable regulatory atmosphere with industry leadership through strong partnership with industry standard body and governmental agencies
Requirements
Solid track record in leading product development for semiconductor packaging, e.g. Die Attach, Wire bond, Mold as well as electrical product characterization and statistical analysis. Knowledge on electrical product characterization, electrical microelectronics and circuits functionalities. Proven experiences in new product introduction and customer engagement. Good insight and knowledge of power electronics, high voltage isolation requirements, material and processing techniques, electrical circuit and reliability engineering. Strong team player collaborating with marketing, engineering, quality and production team to resolve conflicts.
