R1278495 Facilities & Engineering Technician II (Perm Overnight Shift, Sun to Thurs 10pm to 7am)

This position is part of the Facilities and Engineering Department located in Singapore and will be on-site (Overnight shift: 10pm to 7am). At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be responsible for performing facilities and engineering maintenance and calibration activities in a timely manner to meet operational needs of the organization.
• Carry out fault troubleshooting and equipment failure recovery.
• Support, execute or initiate engineering initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences with minimum 2 years of working experience in the maintenance related field.
• Aptitude and general knowledge of repair techniques.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and facility management

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret printed material, including distinguishing colors, accurately read measurements, and prepare and read written documentation using a computer
• Requires exerting force, repetitive motions, standing, precise finger tasks, reaching, sitting, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, walking, climbing, using protective equipment, and maintaining various visual capabilities.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Six Sigma principles
• ISO 13485:2016
• Manufacturing of DNA/RNA oligonucleotides
