Position Description:
Lead day to day asset management data analytics and provide IT solutions for MSREI Asia. Work closely with local investment teams, portfolio management team, financial controllers, and IT vendors (regional and global) to cover various aspects of the regions data and system (including integration). Lead other strategic initiatives for the Asia platform including the below:
· Take ownership of existing MSREI Asia IT System and work on real estate data analytics with each stake holders to consolidate, validate, and deliver performance data outputs to key stakeholders.
· Identify trends, areas of improvement and efficiently to create a uniform centralized database to produce outputs across all MSREI Funds
· Project management of ongoing and new IT development and initiatives in Asia, in particular, working closely with asset management, investment controllers and portfolio management teams to facilitate and automate processes with key IT vendors, including prioritizing business needs, scooping out blueprint, leading user testing / rollout and training
· Being the coordinator and/or custodian of various funds within MSREI data and analytics, including, but not limited to asset management performance, ESG data, portfolio management analytics, budgeting/business planning process for respective funds, each which will be supported by local and fund teams
· Leading weekly calls with key stakeholders to ensure progress and business requirements, support and goals are achieved
· Owning key IT Vendor relationships, managing necessary support and drafting/maintaining IT budget by understanding business needs to maximize efficiency
· Coordinating with global IT team in consolidating data into global database
· Playing a meaningful role in improving global database base and asset management practices

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree or higher
· Basic accounting knowledge (higher understanding preferred)
· At least 6-8 years of relevant full-time working experience at a financial institution or fund / investment manager
· Superior command of using Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and other software applications
· The ability to work as part of a focused team across a larger organization, assume significant responsibility and exercise sound commercial judgment
· Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
· Superior written and verbal communication skills in English
