Job Responsibilities:
- Specialize in connecting skilled professionals, particularly from Myanmar, with top companies in Singapore.
- Lead recruitment efforts for Myanmar nationals seeking job opportunities in Singapore across various industries.
- Apply for work passes including work permits using the Ministry of Manpower platform.
- Logistics including airport collection for workers entering Singapore.
- Assist in sourcing accommodation for workers in Singapore
- Onboarding of workers in Singapore including any ICA formalities/collection of work passes. including making sure the candidates are adequately informed about their rights and responsibilities while working in Singapore. As part of their onboarding, provide information about safety regulations, accommodation standards, and general welfare guidelines
- Assist workers with arranging mobile phone/bank accounts etc in Singapore.
- Build and nurture relationships with both Myanmar candidates and Singaporean employers to better understand their hiring needs.
- Assist the Company Myanmar office to screen, interview, and place candidates in roles that match their skills, experience, and career goals.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Myanmar candidates, helping them adjust to job markets and workplace environments in Singapore.
- Collaborate closely with clients to ensure accurate job descriptions, hiring requirements, and smooth recruitment processes.
- Stay informed about the job market trends for Myanmar nationals, including skills in demand, salary expectations, and other relevant factors.
- Track and report on recruitment progress, including candidate placements, job satisfaction, and client feedback.
Job Requirements:
- Valid CEI (Basic) Certification
- Experience working with Myanmar nationals or within Southeast Asian recruitment markets is a strong advantage.
- Ability to interact with clients and provide regular updates
- Ability to seek out new business opportunities.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recruitment or HR experience, preferably with an understanding of Singapore and Myanmar's employment market and data protection regulations.
- Occasional travel to Myanmar and other countries
- Proficiency in Myanmar (Burmese) and English is required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and navigate cultural nuances and work with diverse groups of people.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with recruitment platformsand social media such as LinkedIn and job boards, as well as CRM tools, is a plus.
- A passion for helping individuals from Myanmar find meaningful employment opportunities abroad.
