Regional Business & Market Analyst

As a Regional Business and Market Analyst, you will work alongside the regional business units of Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO) to analyze, coordinate and follow through on business operational matters. You will collaborate with members from diverse backgrounds on various projects which require understanding of complex business problems from different perspectives.
- Work together with local/regional teams to gather data and conduct analysis supporting hypotheses that will support executive team discussions and generate actionable insights
- Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Perform key analysis on financial performance of business segment and operation statistics at a regional level
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends & competitive landscape
- Prepare clear, visually engaging reports and presentations for executive leadership, translating complex data into compelling narratives
- Drive discussions and provide financial recommendations to SEAO and its regional business units to deliver growth and profitability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in finance & accounting, consulting, analytics, or a related function
- Strong expertise in financial analysis with quantitative and analytical competency
- Strong research/analysis experience and abilities, including excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with spreadsheet software, SQL, Python or similar tools, and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to work creatively, analytically, independently, and effectively
- Experience in analyzing and providing insights on businesses across diverse markets
