Job Overview
The Regional CFO will oversee financial performance management, strategic financial planning, and operational efficiency for the Asia-Pacific region across 11 countries. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving results, ensuring financial alignment with corporate goals, and managing a diverse and multicultural team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Business Performance Management
- Monitor and evaluate weekly/monthly sales, market shares, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Asia-Pacific region.
- Ensure alignment of sales subsidiary performance to corporate objectives through effective coordination with financial planning teams in each country.
- Analyze gaps between actual performance and various financial targets (e.g., Moving Plans, Basic Plans).
- Regularly review and report on market share trends across the region to provide actionable insights to top management.
- Oversee and support sales subsidiary operations across 11 countries, including in-depth analysis for export-driven markets.
2. Reporting and Analysis
- Compile and present high-quality weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc business reports to global HQ.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations through detailed financial analyses tailored to top management's strategic needs.
3. Budget Management and Control
- Lead the annual budget planning process for the region, ensuring precision and alignment with corporate targets.
- Manage and control financial systems (e.g., GNMS, APMS) across subsidiaries for seamless execution.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Marketing teams to monitor and adjust marketing budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
4. Leadership and Team Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact between HQ and Asia-Pacific sales subsidiaries for business performance updates and issue resolution.
- Guide and mentor financial planning teams across the region to maintain high performance standards.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including planning teams, product managers, and senior executives.
Requirements
1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (MBA preferred).
2. Professional Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Over 20 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Planning, or Strategic Financial Management.
- Proven track record in managing diverse teams across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Expertise in financial systems and budgeting tools. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Multitask effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- A fast learner and strategic thinker with a focus on results-driven execution.
