Responsibilities:
Serve as the Compliance Lead for the APO region
Report directly to the Head of Global Regional Compliance
Work closely with your global compliance and legal colleagues and build a network of business and functional stakeholders to meet your compliance objectives
Act as a regional business partner to develop a strong understanding of IDEXX business, the stakeholders, business operations and related compliance risks within your region to proactively identify and mitigate risk
Analyze and identify potential compliance vulnerability and risks continuously to support the Compliance programs continuous improvement
Manage a pipeline of third parties to ensure proper anti-bribery and corruption due diligence is conducted timely and thoroughly, according to IDEXX policies and procedures
Support trade compliance controls in the areas of sanctions, anti-boycott and deemed exports as applicable within your region
Keep IDEXX compliant with all relevant data privacy regulations within your region
Support regional compliance audit as needed
Conduct and support internal compliance investigations as required
Further develop Compliance program awareness through training and communication as appropriate
Requirements:
Advanced degree in law, finance or related field required.
At least 10 years experience in a legal and/or compliance role with working knowledge of general anti-bribery and corruption, privacy and/or trade compliance required.
English proficiency required; other Asian language skills preferred (Mandarin, Japanese).
