Key Responsibilities:
➢ Supervision of compliance programs (anticorruption, antitrust and data protection) in the Asia Pacific region and the Middle-East
➢ Implementation and monitoring of group-wide compliance policies (e.g., ABC, Gift and Invitation, Code of Ethics, Conflict of Interests, whistleblowing etc.) as well as corresponding processes and measures in the region: follow-up of the regulations and best practices, elaboration and follow-up of the corruption risks mapping, identification, evaluation, prevention and detection of regional compliance risks
➢ Implementation and further development of the Know your Business Partner policy
➢ Independent execution of Compliance Due Diligence of clients and suppliers
➢ Consultation of departments and management on compliance issues within the region
➢ Conception, organisation, and implementation of internal Compliance trainings
➢ Assists in the preparation for negotiations of contracts with clients and suppliers
Your profile:
➢ Completed studies in law or comparable a related field of studies
➢ 8-10 years experience
➢ First relevant experience in the field of Compliance (anti-corruption, data protection and possibly competition law) and good knowledge in the field of general commercial law desirable
➢ Enjoys dealing with compliance issues and the consultation of employees
➢ Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
➢ Willingness to work in multidisciplinary and international teams
➢ Excellent command of the English language
➢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international work environment
Position in the company:
➢ Reporting directly to: Group Compliance, with dotted reporting line to the Region
➢ Cooperation with the Regional Internal Control & Risk Management team, and the network of Compliance Managers in the countries
➢ Position based in Singapore
