Regional Finance Manager
Our client seeks a professional to manage finance, accounting, tax, and planning for Asia subsidiaries, and to implement strategic initiatives and transformation projects for group objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with subsidiary leaders and finance teams to provide comprehensive insights and support.
- Implement strategic finance and accounting initiatives aligned with regional objectives.
- Set clear finance and accounting policies to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the Organization Finance and Accounting Division to meet business requirements.
- Manage finance projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Oversee operational risks and maintain accuracy in finance processes.
- Review financial statements for compliance and recommend preventive measures.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, planning, and reporting efforts.
- Coordinate year-end audits and manage audit inquiries for timely approvals.
- Develop effective tax strategies and ensure compliance with filing requirements.
- Supervise treasury functions, focusing on cost-effective funding and risk management.
- Provide financial analysis for investment decisions, including modeling and due diligence.
- Improve accounting policies and internal controls for better operational efficiency.
- Build finance team capabilities and foster professional development.
- Participate in special projects and value-added initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting CA designation preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including tax and strategic planning.
- 5+ years in the APAC region with multinational organizations.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax compliance in Singapore.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams
