Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Head of Air Conditioner Business to lead our Air Conditioner Division in the Southeast Asia & Oceania Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, expanding market share, and enhancing brand recognition within the region. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop effective sales strategies, build strong relationships with customers, and effectively manage cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
. Develop and execute short-term and long-term business plans to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals for the Air Conditioner Division in the Southeast Asia & Oceania Region
. Lead and motivate a team of sales managers, product managers, marketing specialists, and customer support staff to deliver exceptional results
. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
. Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to develop effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that increase brand awareness and drive demand for Samsung air conditioner products
. Work closely with product management and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of customers in the region
. Monitor sales performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, gross margin, and market share, and take corrective actions when necessary
. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Residential Air Conditioners (Split Type and Floor Standing ACs):
. Develop and implement sales strategies for consumer air conditioners, including split-type and floor-standing ACs, to capture a larger market share in the region
. Collaborate with retail partners and distributors to expand product availability and increase sales
. Conduct regular market research to understand consumer preferences and develop new product features and designs that cater to local markets
. Manage product development and launch processes for consumer air conditioners, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards
Systems Air Conditioning (VRF and Split Type):
. Develop and implement regional sales strategies for systems air conditioning
. Expand and strengthen AC professional channel partners to effectively capitalize on market demands coming from SMB to large-scale B2B projects.
. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the B2B sector, positioning Samsung as a reliable and innovative partner for systems air conditioning solutions
. Lead engineering teams to design customized systems air conditioning solutions that meet the specific requirements of each client
. Manage total project timelines and ensure timely delivery of systems air conditioning projects, maintaining high-quality standards across the region
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field MBA preferred
. At least 15 years of experience in the air conditioning industry, with a proven track record of leading and growing businesses in the Southeast Asia & Oceania Region
. Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and financial analysis
. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market share expansion
. Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams
. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities
. Willingness to travel frequently within the region
