Frazer Jones has been retained by one of the largest and most reputable global corporates in their field to appoint a Regional Head of HR Ops and Transformation based in Singapore. This firm have a forward thinking, collaborative and progressive culture. Globally HQ in the US, this organization grows, invests and moves at pace in a highly matrixed environment. The HR function works as part of global and regional teams covering a range of high performing complex international business areas that are in growth and transformation mode.
Reporting to the Global Head of HR Operations and Transformation based in the UK, also working closely with the Regional C-suite and Regional HR BP teams for each business area directly, across a large number of geographies and business areas, this individual will be responsible for leading the HR Operations and HR Transformation agenda end-to-end across APAC, largely based in the Singapore office.
More specifically, this individual will lead a large and experienced geographically dispersed function (150+ people), ensuring end-to-end HR operational excellence and execution, while also leading a number of global and regional HR transformation projects. These projects will include areas such as growing and enhancing HR service centres, reviewing operating models and ways of working, offshoring, outsourcing and automation, in the context of significant ongoing growth. The scope of the team beyond HR transformation also covers the BAU such as onboarding-to-exit lifecycle events. Therefore, it is critical to balance Regional HR Ops & Transformation Strategy, Special projects and execution throughout the annual HR calendars (budget, year end and comp planning, promotions etc). This individual will also have the opportunity to take the lead on global HR transformation projects.
This individual will have a track record operating as a Regional or Global Head of HR Operations and / or Head of HR Transformation within large global corporations, leading sizeable geographically dispersed teams across APAC and / or internationally.
This individual will ideally benefit from extensive international in house corporate HR Ops and Transformation Leadership experience, blending large scale best practice, with the ability to also set up new processes and programmes from scratch, across complex structures and business areas. Pharma or Consumer experience is preferred. Mandarin speaking experience is desirable (not required).
They will be able to balance HR strategy, BAU and HR projects, supported by a collaborative team, allowing for local nuances across the region, while aligning globally where possible, partnering closely with regional counterparts. Former HR transformation experience would be beneficial but is not required in the early part of this persons career from a best practice perspective.
