Regional P&C Actuarial Analyst (APAC)

Our client is an international reinsurance company. They are looking for P&C actuarial for planning and analysis in regional office in Singapore.

The role has a key component to support the development and enhancement of P&C entity planning and analysis tool as the business in Asia Pacific expands. Key deliverable to enhance the efficiency of the tools and database supporting the overall consolidation of entity actuals and plan financials. Role includes quarterly financial analysis, closing/reporting, operational financial planning and forecasting, expense analysis, as well as business analysis for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Nearly qualified Actuary (FSA, FIA, FIAA, FIAK, ASA).
• At least 5 years experiences in actuarial, reporting, reserving, cash flows, valuation, data analysis or insurance audit. Working for P&C in insurers, reinsurance or consulting firms.
• Experience in life insurance/reinsurance, particularly IFRS17 in APAC markets
• Good data management exp.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) , and ideally familiar with data tools like VBA and Macros
