We are looking for a self-motivated qualified actuary who are enthusiastic in gaining exposure in reinsurance pricing activities for APAC ex. China markets, project management involving multiple stakeholders within & outside pricing function.
About the Role
Lead the implementation of relevant strategic pricing / product priorities for APAC ex. China markets.
Drive continuous improvement in process optimization
Communicate effectively across functions, e.g. Risk Management, Steering & Portfolio Monitoring and Valuation, to improve of actuarial feedback loops within APAC ex. China.
Support the delivery of management report regarding operations, portfolio experience & other relevant strategic projects.
Provide pricing support to local teams, including quotation & financial solutions delivery, forward looking pricing techniques development, new product development consultancy, etc.
About the Team
Life & Health Pricing Office APAC ex. China is an exciting regional team covering pricing operations of multiple countries in Asia with team members coming from various countries. We work very closely with wide range of functional teams including pricing community, risk management, valuation within APAC ex. China and other global functions to enable our L&H business.
About You
We are looking for an open-minded and enthusiastic team player who can constructively and respectfully engage in challenging conversations. To be successful, you need to have strong technical analytical skills and communication & negotiation skills to manage various stakeholders expectations
You are with 5+ years actuarial experience with strong technical understanding of L&H re/insurance
You are a qualified actuary under recognized actuarial body (SOA/CAS/IOA/FOA/FIA or equivalent)
You have proven track record in supporting managing projects / initiatives with stakeholders with diverse background in different locations
You have good experience in direct or reinsurance pricing
You have strong analytical skills and ability to interpret actuarial / analytical / financial outputs generated by various functions
