We are looking for a Regional Programme Director
You will be part of a growing team providing programme management / PMO services within the JLL APAC Regional PMO Group. You will have the opportunity to work on portfolios of projects with prestigious Clients, developing your skills within JLLs career framework . In doing so you will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised at times showing initiative, whilst inspiring confidence in your interactions with both Internal and External Clients, Stakeholders and Partners.
You will have prior experience working within a PMO / Programme Management environment, have a track record supporting the delivery of capital works to clients in the financial services sector across Asia Pacific and have extensive experience navigating complex matrix environments managing Client Stakeholders, including engaging with senior business leaders.
Client Facing Roles and Responsibilities
Act as the Clients single point of contact in the region for strategy, implementation and escalation for capital works delivered by JLL, blending Clients specific requirements with Local Business needs.
Develop and sustain relationships with Stakeholders and Workstream Leads within the Client organization, reviewing and advising on budget and schedule matters related to the programme.
Assist the Client in the capital project strategy, developing budget and schedule forecasts for business case Approval.
Prepare forecasts for project expenditures and assist in the definition of scope and schedule and its management to meet Client objectives.
Develop, maintain and refresh robust onboarding collateral to onboard JLL Project Management teams into the Clients systems, processes and technology. Deliver effective onboarding to project teams on appointment and provide regular follow up training as required
Additionally the Regional Programme Director shall: define, agree and report on project timelines, technical issues and stakeholder engagement for capital projects
ensure all work orders and contracts are drafted, approved and executed before starting work on a project
provide oversight to all of the regional projects delivered by JLL Project Management teams, give expert guidance and advice on all matters relating to project delivery.
ensure they deliver projects to specification, on time and in budget with the required standards for construction and data quality.
ensure that JLL Project Management teams report accurately on the status of the project and project finances.
on board in country delivery project managers and ensure they deliver projects to specification, on time and in budget.
ensure that changes to scope or budget are reported on and managed accordingly.
ensure that project/program risks are reported on and managed accordingly.
drive cost assurance and value engineering.
Ensure structured handover and close out of projects including documentation to relevant stakeholders such as FM, Finance etc.
Manage risk related to projects. Ensure JLL Project Management teams adhere to JLL process and follow Client governance processes at all stages of the project.
Monitor adherence to corporate risk policies and practices, holding Project Managers accountable for mitigating or eliminating risk.
Be an advocate for and assure compliance of Health and Safety best practice with JLL and Client policy
Assist in the review and improvement of internal process and reporting.
Proactively work to resolve deficiencies in project delivery and escalate accordingly.
Own performance management frameworks / scorecards under applicable agreements.
Keep mandated reporting tools up to date to ensure accurate and effective reporting at all times.
Attend meetings (including senior leadership steering meetings) and be responsible for preparing/producing minutes, PowerPoint presentations and reports as required.
Capturing of Lessons Learned from similar projects.
Key Roles & Responsibilities internal to JLL
Implement JLLs Account Management Deliverables, including Mandatory Account Deliverables
Actively support, educate and guide JLL project management teams in maximising scoring under applicable performance management frameworks and minimise impacts of fee at risk.
Support regular Account Health checks
Own all commercial and contractual matters in connection with JLLs services. Ensure all agreements and documentation necessary for invoicing is in place, assure the issue of invoices, drive cash collection and identify opportunities that improve JLL margin without comprising the service provided.
Monitor and review account profitability with Business Line heads periodically
Create awareness of JLLs full range of services to the client as value creation opportunities
Develop and deliver value add services within the PMO
Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice
Personal attributes
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or related technical field
Min 10+ years experience managing commercial fit out projects / programmes working directly with Client, Owner or as an owner's representative.
Strong project management experience including identifying type of projects / projects objectives, developing project plans and execution strategies (must have experience as project leader)
Minimum of 7+ years experience leading teams; either internal or external parties
Perceptive, self-motivated, collaborative, enthusiastic, have strong organizational and time-management skills, have strong analysis and problem solving skills, a passion for quality and, critically, have an eye for detail
Possess a good knowledge of industry principles and processes relevant to your role
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Numerate
English, both written and spoken, to a good technical standard. Other languages an advantage
