Local Division Manager PI and P&P Cluster

Your role and responsibilities

As the Sales Manager for Process Industries, you will be responsible for development and execution of the sales strategy of our Local Division Indonesia and Singapore. We cover industries like Mining, Metals, Cement, Paper, Food & Beverage and Data Centers and engage with our customers through the entire life cycle of their assets starting from early solution conceptualization through sales to execution followed by all kinds of basic and advanced life cycle services.

In addition, you will be responsible to lead a sales team to cover Pulp and Paper South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. We also cover adjacent geographies like Malaysia and Philippines from this local division, and provide support and deliver critical projects for the rest of the South East Asian countries as needed.

Our solution portfolio covers digitalization, automation, instrumentation, drives, and electrification solutions for the above sectors. Our deliverable can extend from large and complex projects that cover the entire portfolio, to small and specific automation or digital solutions.

This position will report to the Local Division Manager (Indonesia and Singapore), Process Industries Division within the Process Automation Business Area.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries in Jakarta, Indonesia, whereas Singapore could be an option depending on the candidate's current location.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Overseeing the Marketing & Sales and Business development functions of the Local Division including the Solutions and Service portfolio.
  • Achieving the sales targets for your LD that include order volume and order gross margin. Managing sales costs within budget. Establishing sales and portfolio mix targets throughout the organization and taking corrective actions when needed.
  • Creating, planning, and implementing the sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with the local and global strategy and overseeing all marketing and sales activities within the local division. Ensuring efficient marketing communications.
  • Managing the mix of orders to ensure that all sectors and portfolios are adequately covered. This includes attention to the growth of the service and channel partner business.

Qualifications For The Role


  • Significant work experience, preferred to have exposure to sectors like Metals, Mining, Cement or Paper with experience in projects or automation business.
  • Leadership experience with a strategic mindset, financial acumen, and a strong sales flair.
  • A proven track record of leading a high-performance sales team.
  • Must be creative, strategic, analytical, influential and possess negotiation skills.
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence.
