The role is part of the Nina Mart Management team and has a key objective of designing sales, market penetration & merchant acquisition strategies so as to drive top line revenue growth by improving sales efficiencies, wallet share improvements, ideating and launching commercial initiatives, merchant program and campaign management.
Launched in Feb 2021, Ninja Mart is Ninja Vans first FMCG-focused logistics unit. We connect brands with retailers in suburban and rural regions of Vietnam and Malaysia, unlocking endless possibilities for business expansion in this fast-growing region.
The Regional Ninja Mart team is split into a few sub-verticals:
- Commercial Strategy & Growth, 2. Business Strategy & Operations, 3. Marketing and Brand Strategy, and 4. Partnership and Business Development. This role sits within the Business Strategy & Operations function.
Responsibilities
Lead an international team comprising sales ops and data analyst functions to model commercial initiatives and corresponding cost-benefit analyses
Drive Commercial Initiative Planning across VN and MY and analyse ROI on commercial initiatives
Monitor, track, update and improve on initiatives through data-centric approach
Work with Local Head of Sales to establish sales enablement, sales training materials and toolkits
Develop guidelines and principles for Sales Performance management & discipline and metrics for tracking
Work with Product/ Tech on tracking Sales performance
Establish guiding principles for commissions and incentivisation
Drive sales productivity through product development with engineering stakeholders
Development of Commercial Tech Products and ensure successful adoption of Loyalty product and Order Management Front end for merchant digitalisation
Ideate and project manage market penetration, merchant acquisition and merchant digitalisation strategies
Spearhead the roll-out of initiatives by driving operational change in collaboration with the Head of Sales and our larger sales team
Work with Global Trade Marketing & partnership teams to develop merchant acquisition and loyalty programs
Responsible for team administration, development, guidance and management to support in-country initiatives and special projects
Responsible for reviewing of team outputs
Requirements
7+ years in Management/ Strategy Consulting, Logistics, FMCG supply chain, Operations, Strategy & Operations; or in a related field
Bachelors degree in Business Administration/ MBA, Operations, Business Operations
Action oriented, Analytical, Stakeholder Management
Experience in a people management role
Demonstrated experience in executing complex multi-stakeholder projects
Demonstrated experience in a project management role
Proficiency in Mandarin and/or an additional SEA language will be beneficial
