The Supply Chain Team faces a stronger objective to bring about better optimization of the stock through enhanced reactivity to sales performances. The responsibilities and tasks of South Asia Supply Chain are evolving with the upgrade of solutions tools. At the same time, rebalancing activity will be one of the activities to help to increase sell through and reduce obsolescence. This activity contains reverse logistic and closely follow up with on store return efficiency.

Client Orders Management and Omni Channel Performance
In accordance with the Company strategy to strengthen the Omni-Channel efficiency and overall client experience, we would require the intern to assist in the improvement of our response time and timely fulfilment of client orders. It would also be necessary to provide regular updates on pending client orders with regards to a visibility on when the product would be available.
It is also beneficial to establish a monitoring system of key performance indicators. This includes the gathering of relevant data for regular review and occasional deep diving to understand the causes of service failures. The intern would also be participating in the conception of relevant tools and dashboards that would be beneficial to the team in monitoring the Omni Channel performance. Despite of the current tools to manage client orders, it would be interesting if the intern is able to reflect on the existing process and propose improvements on how to render this domain more efficient.
Performance Monitoring: Sell Through Improvement
In the strategy to optimize inventory and reduce obsolescence, the intern will assist in building efficient and regular program to optimize the sell-through of our seasonal products. The intern will assist also in exploring current tools and develop new tools to propose sound rebalance actions that will optimize review with Merchandising team. There will be a need as well to review the results of rebalancing exercise with relevant data to compare vs. key performance indicators and business needs.
Operations: Inventory Management, Reverse logistic & Follow up
Help in managing reverse logistic distribution to Central or other zones to minimize holding stock. The intern also helps in stock cleaning and assisting the Distribution planners in managing transfer back from our network stores. This includes developing a dynamic system to follow up on return efficiency of the markets and challenge them on their completion. It would also require a regular summary of the return rate to communicate with the Management and the zone.
Forecasting
Supporting Distribution planners in the monthly adjustment of forecast for permanents and seasonals products.
Profile
Qualifications
- Analytical with experience in operational processes.
- Organized, Meticulous and Data oriented.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and being accountable with minimum supervision.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Power BI knowledge, programming skills (VBA, SQL) / SAP experience will be an added plus.
- Efficient Presentation skills. Ability to present meaning of data in an analytically manner.
