Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products to local outlets and JV partners.
- Manage 3PL providers to ensure efficient warehouse operations and fulfillment services.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
2. Inventory Control:
- Ensure accurate and timely stock movements, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and stock takes to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
- Work closely with the team to monitor stock levels and optimize inventory management processes.
3. Order Fulfillment:
- Manage the fulfillment process for all direct-to-outlet orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Coordinate closely with the team to monitor order status, identify bottlenecks, and ensure KPIs such as on-time delivery and order accuracy are met.
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve any fulfillment-related issues.
4. Collaboration with Supply Chain Teams:
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure alignment between inventory levels and demand forecasts.
- Support the team by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with 3PL providers, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with the team to maintain optimal stock levels based on demand and lead time.
5. Performance Management:
- Liaise with 3PL providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met for warehousing and transportation services.
- Regularly review and audit the performance of 3PL providers, addressing any service gaps or inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the operational performance of the distribution center.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse or distribution center management, with a track record of managing large-scale operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and possess strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing best practices, and order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills and come with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs compliance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in order fulfillment rate (on-time delivery), inventory accuracy (variance between physical and system stock) and 3PL provider performance (adherence to SLAs)
